The Skyline Trail at Mount Rainier National Park has 360 degree sights that will take your breath away. Not online will you have amazing views of the glaciers on the peak, but you will also be greeted with surrounding mountains in the distance and the marmots who live along the trail. The first 0.5 mile is an intense uphill climb that will leave you winded. After completing this section of the hike, you will be rewarded with a much more forgiving trail. As tempting as it is, make sure to avoid any wildlife on the trails as the park wants to protect them. It is also important to stay on trail to avoid harming the ecosystem all together. In the months of July and August, you will encounter the wildflowers that grow along the trail, giving the hike a beautiful color added in.
