A lot of hikers fail to do research on hikes, which can lead to dangerous or fatal outcomes. In each of my posts, I gave a description of the trail (including conditions, weather factors, and risks of other factors that are commonly encountered due to poor research or knowledge). I also ranked each trail based on their difficulty, ranging from beginner to expert level hikes. Each hike got their ranking due to length, elevation, trail conditions, and risk level. In some of my higher risk hike posts, I stated what the risks are and what you can do to prevent from getting caught in one of these situations yourself. I also recommended different equipment to bring along the hike to ensure people are prepared. I think the outcome of the website came out great as the website is aesthetically pleasing, offers easy navigation, and also can help others who view the website understand the hikes they are wanting to do. This is something I want to continue to build as I feel it is important to educate others before their hikes. I think something I want to add to it is leaving a section for viewers to comment, leaving reviews themself, giving more ideas, recommending other hikes, and posting more images of trails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I also was managing an Instagram to focus on my marketing section of my major as I wanted to get more practice in. This Instagram was used to market the 14u softball team that I coach, by posting game day edits, in game videos, fundraisers we were hosting, and other events. This was a fun project for me to do as not only did I enjoy creating all the graphics, but many of the girls and parents enjoyed the content being posted. I noticed a lot of the girls felt more motivated with the Instagram as they wanted to be posted for their accomplishments. I think the outcome of this for me was great as it taught me more skills on how to use canva, but also finding a way to market that is enjoyable for both myself and the players and parents on the team.
