The Mount Morgan and Percival Loop trail is a fun trail for those looking for more enrichment than your standard hike as it has features such as climbing through tight caves, rock scrambles, cliffs, and ladders. This hike is a great hike to take older children who are a bit more experienced in hiking and have interest in climbing. This loop takes about 3-4 hours to complete and is commonly completed in a clockwise rotation (starting at Mount Morgan). It is possible to do the trail backwards, but if you choose to take the ladders down on Mount Morgan, this can become quite scary for many. During the winter, it is important to bring micro spikes as the trail may be covered in ice especially near exposed cliffs. This trail is also pet friendly, just be sure to have all pets on leashes and it is recommended to go around any ladders and cliffs to make it easier for pets to climb up and down. To shorten the hike, you can also choose to do only one mountain and make it an out and back trail to save on time.
