One of the most well-known hikes in Acadia National Park, the Beehive Trail is both challenging and accelerating. This trail is well known for its heights, leaving only the daring to attempt this hike. Though not nearly as challenging as it’s neighboring trail, Precipice, this hike still includes many ladder sections, requiring strength to pull yourself up. On this trail, you will find yourself on many ledges overlooking amazing views of nearby mountains, as well as the Atlantic Ocean. This trail is not recommended for those who are bringing pets, as they will not be able to climb the ladder sections.
